"South America," Melanie echoes as she climbs up two stories and steps out into another featureless hallway. "Did you get to see the Amazon rainforest?" She is quickly and unsurprisingly growing envious of Daniel's traveling experiences. She's seen pictures of the rainforest, but international travel was all but nonexistent after the Breakdown.

She leads Daniel around a corner and up to a large set of double doors. Beyond them: a subterranean parking garage. Melanie grins, pleased that everything seems to be working out so far. "Nearly there," she informs Daniel cheerfully.
