Seth is distantly aware of what's going around him, like he's watching it all from above, but none of it really registers or makes a difference, until Daniel is next to him.

The pain is ebbing away, but it only seems to leave void in its place, and Seth's screaming suddenly dies away into a pained whimper.

He can still feel the power pulsing through him, and he feels like he's withering away, and he tries to grab at Daniel's shirt, but even now that he's stopped flailing, his hands won't seem to work properly.

And he slowly realises what Daniel is saying, and they eventually what he means by it, and no way in hell Seth is doing that to him, no matter how scared he is.

And then he doesn't think he has much of a choice anyway, because his limbs slowly stop working, he's just slumped on the floor now, and all will and conscious movement seems to have been sapped out of him, and he can feel himself breathing, he can feel his heart pumping, he can see Daniel, but he can't do anything.

He's just trapped, lost inside himself.
