But despite appearances, Seth does have a certain sympathy for him, since - with the backstory Seth has somehow been made aware of in mind - it's pretty obvious that most of Peter's animosity comes from a place of bitterness and hurt, not a lack of ability to care about people. After all, just how aggressive he gets when Lucy is involved is a pretty clear indication that he does care. And, well, Seth is fairly sure Gabe wouldn't be friends with him if he was just a shit person.

Meanwhile, he rather enjoys Daniel's reaction to the discussion of threesomes, though he lets him get away with the subject change. Especially since it's possibly a way out.
