Peeta returns Daine's smile and gives Cloud a little nod of the head. At least he won't have to worry about having a horse angry with him.

Daine's happiness is infectious to the point that Peeta feels his mood lighten. He relaxes, studying the landscape around them with curiosity. However unexpected and disconcerting it was to find himself in Tortall, he finds that he's beginning to look forward to seeing Daine's home.

"Remind me, who is Kitten?" he asks, frowning slightly as he mentally runs through everyone Daine told him about.
