There is something quietly satisfying in the look of awe-struck horror on Daniel's face. He is the Morningstar, he is the Light-Bringer, he is the Beast Who Is Called Dragon. He may be ruined and in exile, but he is still great and fearsome and deserving of that fear.

There are a good many epithets for him that humanity has come up with-- Lucifer, the Devil, Satan, Old Scratch. He prefers the ones that remind the speaker of his radiance.
