Oh yeah, that's actually way better. Daniel didn't even realize he was cold until the blanket goes over both of them, and this is really nice and really cozy, comfortably reminiscent of his past two non-shared dreams without any of the confusing associations.

"I was gonna say you started it," he answers, blithely unabashed, "but then I realized I started it. Which makes me kind of a hypocrite. But, y'know, I feel like that's a fairly self-informed flaw."

Besides, exchanges of puns are perfectly neutral things. Perfectly neutral, even if the exchanging of puns happens to occur...beneath a blanket. While sort-of maybe cuddling. Hmm. Well. Daniel's just not going to touch that.
