It takes Melanie an extra moment to parse Illyria's language. Shell must mean her body. Entity means herself - the normal part - but it means the cordyceps, too. Melanie frowns.

"I'm… almost always the dominant entity," she says carefully. "If I wasn't, that's when I'd be dangerous."
