The last few days have been too eventful for Daine to be inclined towards wandering overmuch. Nice as it is to have Coromotto with her again, they've both decided exploring should take a back seat to relaxing. He'd managed to sniff out an island that smelled like home, a sloping, grass-covered mound topped by a crown of pine trees. And there they've sprawled, Coromotto flat-out over the grass and Daine with her head pillowed against his side. Their eyes are shut, but their ears are open to the sounds of wind and waves - and to anyone who might approach. This doesn't seem like a dangerous sort of dream, but you never quite know.
