Greta and Angus turn towards the voice with closely mirrored sounds of surprise, though hers is more of a hoot and his a woof. They hadn't realized this heavily forested little island was inhabited, though admittedly it's hard to tell through the aforementioned heavy forestation. She and Angus had been sticking to the pebbly little stretch of beach to avoid him getting burrs in his fur.
"Yes?" she calls back, somewhat uncertainly, as Angus sniffs the air. She doesn't recognize the voice, and she can tell Angus doesn't, either. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. This is a dream, after all. Even if the caller is from ROMAC, she (sounds like a she, anyway) won't be able to truly hurt them.
Still, it's a rather alarming-looking individual who steps out of the trees with a great black bird on one shoulder. The other two animals with her are less easy to identify, but Greta's more concerned with the person's curling horns and tail than her pets. This is the first time she's ever actually seen someone so obviously from another universe.
It's Angus who finds his voice first. "Who are you?" he asks, ears pricked forward.
