By now Iman has completed a circuit around a few of the closer islands and is crossing over to a new one. Aqil's flying overhead - they were quick to establish that they are in fact linked by some unseen force, and there is a limit to the distance they can put between each other, and testing it is not something they'll be trying again anytime soon. He's flying within the range, low and close, but he's still far enough ahead that he spots the man on the beach before Iman does.
"It's Rush," he says, swooping back down. "He's got a very mean looking cat."
"That's appropriate," says Iman with a little smile. She shields her eyes against the sun and spots him, and his soul-critter beside him. She lifts a hand to wave, not sure if he'll see, but if he does, he'll probably be able to tell who she is. Bright green headscarf glinting in the sun and all that.
