Jay looks up at her wearily, and then spots the sudden flash of sharp metal and jerks back, sprawling on the ground.

"Okay, just-" He holds his hand out, trying to keep her at bay. "Just calm down. It's a dream, okay? We're dreaming. What, are you new?" He squirms back a bit more before moving to pick himself up, gingerly, slowly, hoping she doesn't take this movement as aggressive.
