Daine sits on the fountain's edge, unable to remember how she got there, but not especially concerned about it. It's strange to see the terrace so deserted, though - for a fleeting moment, she remembers it empty and cold and full of blowing snow - so when Almondine steps forward, Daine notices her within moments.

"Almondine." She smiles at the dog, though it fades a little when she realizes the dog is alone. Where's Edgar? she asks, holding her hands out to the dog.
