"There is no absence of Doctors here," she assures him with an angry snort. "And I suppose you are busy hiding somewhere." Because how else is it possible for him to be in the city without her noticing? Her senses can't be that impaired, they just can't, even with all the grating interference and distractions of this universe. She cocks her head disdainfully to mask just how disturbed she is. "The mundanities of living in this city can be difficult to get used to, I'm sure, but you do already have practice living an ordinary life, after all."
