"You know what? Do whatever you want. Help him, scare him, actually light him on fire." He grins up at her, and it's as if his entire mood has changed. He seems amused, happy even, but the truth is that any right she might have had so seeing the real emotions roiling inside him have been revoked. He points out a plate of cookies as he stands and picks up his mask. "Have one of these, you won't regret it." His smile tightens for just a moment and he gives her an impromptu wave.
