Right now she's perfectly happy to utterly ignore the fact that they aren't quite each other's proper versions. That is just another source of pain she can't deal with on top of everything else, especially since it's one of the reasons she was so eager for Gabriel's company. So she focuses wholly on his presence and the comfort he provides, letting him ease her roil of emotions.

Except that means she finds his upsetness tucked away in a corner of his mind, and she prods at it with a little concern, looking up at his questioningly.
