Daine purses her lips in thought, then shakes her head again. "I haven't met anyone," she says. Of course, she hasn't exactly been scanning the crowds of two-leggers for those tell-tale glimmers of copper, either. She'd thought it was weird the way that New Yorkers could ignore just about anything, but now she can understand why they are that way. There are just too many people in the dratted city to be paying them all attention; you'd go mad if you tried. "But I haven't really been looking," she admits. "Not unless I had a reason to think there might be something to see."
