If the dream itself hasn't already put the TARDIS off of physical expressions of affection, the unnecessary display of violence definitely does, and she takes a step back from Gabriel's touch, not caring that she's nearly treading on Peter's feet in the process. His behavior just now was honestly disgraceful, but she prefers not to linger on the way he'd clearly enjoyed killing the thing. There's already enough other things making her uncomfortable here.
