Andrew moves as quickly as he dares between the bodies, looking over each one. Nothing -- nothing. Of course it wouldn't be that easy. He's going to have to try some pockets, and he doubts how long he can keep Jodie from looking up once he starts stooping and taking away one of his hands to rifle through the clothing of the dead.

It's a moot point soon enough. Andrew turns his head to see her face when she tenses. He gives her a little squeeze in return, surprised she hasn't screamed. "I'm sorry," he says. "I didn't want you to see this. You don't have to look if it scares you; whatever happened here is over now."
