"Gus, it is a pleasure to meet you, as strange a this all is!" Julian says, returning the hand-shake. "Cosmia, you too," he adds with a nod to the chameleon, not sure if he is supposed to address someone else's animal or not, or if there are even rules, and hopes he hasn't offended Gus or his companion by speaking to him/her/it. He does have a bad habit of breaking rules without knowing it. What a strange, bizzare, fascinating place this is.

"A... shared dream?" Julian repeats, his voice dubious but also alight with curiosity at the notion. "I don't see how that is possible. I have never heard of such a thing happening before. Is it like a psychic link between people while they sleep? Is there technology involved, or are we truly sleeping? Imagine the possibilities of such a thing! To network, share information and cultures and knowledge between worlds, quadrants, galaxies without even travel!" He trails off, and then laughs, realizing he is getting carried away again, afraid he will see that oft familiar look he sees on his friends' and comrades' when he carries on with theories or whatnot. O'Brien would have shaken him by now.

"I'm afraid I'm not sure I believe that, but please don't take offense. It isn't you I don't believe, it is just this is all so very impossible! But... if I *am* dreaming, then anything is possible though, right? And I should take it in stride! So how did you come to this conclusion, have you been here before? In this dream? Are you a world much like this?"

"Excuse him," Agamede adds to Cosmia with what is possibly as close to an eyeroll as a fennec fox can manage. "Julian, give the man a chance to breath before you drown him in questions. He is not research on some distant planet." "Apologies again,." Julian adds with a smile, genuine and slightly embarrassed, but not as if he is sorry for being curious. It is his dream afterall... maybe.
