dreams...in...SPAAAAAACE!
It's Wednesday night, and the rift has once again pushed and pulled the dreamers of Manhattan and beyond, gathering them together for its own mysterious purposes.
Why, for instance, have the dreamers been placed in an office building? And why, for that matter, is everyone weightless? Everything is weightless, for that matter, which might make maneuvering a little difficult with all those floating tables, chairs, and office supplies floating about. There's nothing stopping anyone from leaving the building and exploring the parking lot and green spaces nearby, but is a wide open space really where one wants to be right now?
[Mod note: Usual dream party rules apply. All players and characters are welcome, current members or no. Characters will remember or forget all dream events at players' discretion.]

Bother, she mutters, stretching back her hind legs to prevent herself from hitting the stairs spine-first.

Hey! she objects, her surprise and annoyance far outweighing the small fact that she did technically ask for his help. He still could have given her some warning - and not grabbed her tail. He still hasn't let go, and she expresses her displeasure in leopard fashion: snarling and giving him a whap with one of her paws. She keeps her claws retracted, and there isn't that much force behind the blow, but it ought to give him a bit of a jolt. Fair's fair.

tigerleopard by the tail. "Woa!" Peter lets go when she turns and snarls like she's going to bite his face off. He'd back off, too -- hell, he'd run -- but he's stuck floating in midair and has to take the blow. He goes spinning off despite the relative gentleness of it, the massive flinch when he saw it coming not helping matters. "You asked for that!"no subject

Only then does she turn her attention to Peter's predicament, and her tone is distinctly amused as she asks, Need help?

"It's bad luck to die in dreams," he tells her even as he lets go of the cubicle to float free and teleports further down the room. "You do what you want, but I'm not going out there if everything's still floating."

She stops outside the door to scope things out. It's impossible to tell from here if the gravity is still on out there or not, as the sidewalk, street, grass, and trees would look normal either way… which means she ought to plan this as if she'd be floaty out there, too. There's an awning above the door, so if she steps out and ends up floating up, she could bounce off that and land on the nearest bit of turf. She ought to be able to snag that as well as she does the carpeting, so then it would just be a matter of turning around and retracing the same flightpath.
I'll risk it, she decides, reaching up with one paw to press the handicapped exit button. The interior door slowly swings open, and she drags herself through.
