Here You Are, Stick Figure and a Busted Grin [Open to All]

The first thing that the dreamers of Manhattan might notice is that the ground is a good deal closer than it normally is. The second thing they might notice is that their surroundings are larger than they might expect. The playground looks almost daunting. Of course, there are other ways for the dreamers to occupy themselves on this hot summer day: a charming fountain bubbles away a little distance from the playground. There's an ice cream stand with treats free for the taking. Beyond the paved area is a meadow, covered in wildflowers and dominated by a huge, sprawling tree, perfect for climbing.

It's all prime entertainment for children. So really, it's just as well that 'children' is what the dreamers will find themselves to be - once more, for those who had childhoods, or for the first time, for those who didn't.

Perhaps you'll remember everything: the Rift, Manhattan, the friends (and enemies) you've made since your arrival. Or perhaps you'll only remember who you were when you were young, and find this an opportunity to forge new friendships - or new (and probably pettier) animosities. Run around, get dirty, have a good time. It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye.

[ooc: usual dream party rules apply. All are welcome, whether they've been apped to the game or not. Characters will remember or forget the events of the dream at the players' discretion. Mental and emotional regression is optional, but physical regression is mandatory: your character is in the body of a little kid - human, or human-ish - regardless of who or what they are in the waking world.]

"Flowers, mostly. One of them was awfully fixated on flowers."

Oh, and then there was the other one, the special one. Samael sits up and looks over at his brother, because this is a much more interesting topic than flowers or other odd hairless ape-creatures.

"There's one, Gabriel, that has my name written all over the fibers of his being. His name is Sam Winchester, and he and his father and his brother hunt down these things they call monsters. I think it's a little like when our Father had us lock away the Leviathan, except smaller and less difficult."

Well, they are just little mortals, so you can't expect them to take on anything really powerful.

"Father must have chosen him for something."

Oh well this is very interesting. His eyes widen in surprise and he looks back over towards the others, wondering if the one his brother talked about is one of them. If he is, he can't feel what his brother had felt.

"What could a mortal do for you?" Surely anything mortal could only do things that Samael can already accomplish by himself. "Do you think that there is one for me, too?" It would make sense, if his brother had been sent a mortal thing, that he would have been sent one as well...whatever it is that they're for. He's pretty unclear on the possibilities.

"I don't know, but he must do something. Why else would Father have put my name on him?"

Their Father must want him to do something with the boy, but he doesn't know what. Maybe He would tell them, or maybe He wouldn't, but there's definitely something special about Sam.

"You might. Maybe we're here to find them, and then watch over them until they do... whatever it is that they're supposed to do. They're fragile, they probably need the protection. What if yours dies while you're trying to find it?"

Now there's a thought.

Gabriel is quiet for a little while, just looking out over the branches of the tree and the meadow beyond. What if this is all really important? Their Father would have mentioned something about this if it was, wouldn't he?

Eventually he settles on an old standby: "All will be revealed when we require knowledge of it."
