It's Saturday night and you're hallucinating in your sleep!
It's that time again! The rift has caught the good little dreamers of New York (and beyond) in its currents and washed them ashore on a desert island in a dream wonderland. This time, however, quite a noticeable change has come over each of the attendees of this nocturnal party.
All the people who arrive in this shared mindspace will find that they have been transformed into some sort of animal they find familiar or that resembles them. They will find that they can still communicate with one another and that they still have all their mental faculties, but might be a little…well…influenced by the forms they have taken on.
They will also find that they have been deposited in the middle of the largest, most elaborate playground they have ever seen. Climbing equipment and slides of the sort meant for human children are in evidence, but so are cat trees, meadows, tunnels, pools and ponds, aerial obstacle courses, and anything else the mind can imagine, for as far as the eye can see.
[OOC: The usual dream party rules apply: players apply the party's theme (in this case, transformation) to their characters according to their own discretion, and both members and non-members are more than welcome to use this post to try out characters not yet in the game. Usual dreaming rules also apply, in that players can choose whether or not their characters will remember this in the morning. Have at!]

With the air rushing past him, he spots a hoop set on a long pole. With a few beats of his wings, he builds up speed and then quickly brings them in, doing a showy barrel roll through the hoop before diving to fly closer to the ground. If there's someone else here, he's betting that they'll be along the ground somewhere rather than in the sky.

Even in crow form, Aly's Sight gives her enough clues to guess who it is under those feathers.
A crow is smaller and nimbler than the great seabird he's become. For now, she chooses instead to sit primly on one of the rings and claim it as a perch.

He makes another pass at one of the rings, only this time, there's someone sitting atop it. He circles around closer, but he doesn't immediately recognize who it is.
"Hello." Landing on the ring is a bit of a tricky task as it is, so he doesn't bother trying to land next to her. Instead, he lands at the bottom of ring, his wings flapping out for a moment as his webbed feet find purchase. Let her come down if she wants to.

"Hello there," she replies, watching as the great seabird arranges itself. It makes her wonder what form Kyprioth would take if not a great crow with too much jewelry.
"Come here often?"

He watches her go for a moment, then beats his wings and heads higher, searching out a stronger wind current.

And ugh, thanks for the reminder. "I'm stuck like this," she complains, frowning down at herself.

"Only till you wake up. Until then, be glad you don't have webbed feet. These are a bitch."

She has some wikipedia pages to print off, first."I suspect that's why real albatrosses spend most of their time on the wing," Daine says with a wry smile. "Anyway, it could be worse." He could be an itty-bitty bat like Peter, for example.

It's probably just as well she's unaware of their collective spat. Granted, her interaction with Peter the bat was pleasant enough that she'd be more inclined than some others might be to acknowledge that he even could be good company, but her expectations still aren't that high. She'd have a harder time understanding how two nigh-godlike beings could allow something as unsurprising as Peter's ill humor to spoil their fun.

"Not quite a sphinx, are you?"

"Sphinxes are pretty unlikable anyway," he answers.

The TARDIS upset him too :|||"Alien sphinxes. Huh." If he had his own body at the moment, he might pull a face, but as it is, he tilts his head to the side. "Got the whole menagerie here today. Did you see, the TARDIS was a unicorn?" Yeah, smooth. Real smooth.
